Moppets

Before we can care for your child, you must register them as a MOPPET with our group.   Childcare will be provided from 5:55pm-8:00pm on Thursdays in the preschool wing located on the 1st floor.   Childcare is for children ages birth thru kindergarten. A snack will be provided for your child while at MOPS.  Each child should bring their own diapers, bottles, and sippy cups (if they are too young for a regular cup). If your child has allergies, please notify his/her teacher and provide an alternate snack. A parent of the child(ren) dropped off in Moppets must remain on site with the MOPS group until the child in picked up.  You may only bring your children with you to Moppets.  We always welcome visitors, but the mother or legal guardian must be attending the MOPS meeting also. Moppets childcare is equipped to provide care for children who are well.  Children who show signs of illness will not be accepted.  This is in place for the well being of all the children who attend Moppets.  It keeps the spread of illness to a minimum and allows the sick child to stay at home with extra love and attention.     A child should be kept home when any of the following exists: Fever within 24 hours Vomiting or diarrhea withing 24 hours Any symptoms of childhood disease - Scarlet Fever, German measles, mumps or chicken pox Sore throat Croup Any unexplained rash Any skin infection: boils, ringworm, impetigo Pink eye or other eye infection Green or yellow runny nose due to infection
